No, as far as I can tell this mod is not compatible with U6P. This mod changes a file that is also used by U6P, so even if it appeared to "work" (and I'm not sure that it would), it may override other important changes, needed for U6P.
There is an abundance of food in U6P though, and there are places where the food "re-spawns" daily. Also, to save time, you can click on the "drumstick" food icon (at the top of the inventory window) to eat all the food in a backpack at once, which adds to your food stores (which are used automatically by your party when they need to eat).
